Since 2013 , Rudy's Custom Upholstery has become the most well-known Upholstery Shop in Murrieta. We started out in 1993 in a shop in, Vista Ca. and prospered there for 20 years before relocating to Murrieta Ca, in 2013. We’re proud to have produced years of happy customers and look forward to continuing our work for years to come! Our love for what we do drives who we are and what we aspire to accomplish Every. Furniture reupholstery :
We can fix a rip ; change out buttons on tufting ; reupholsterer chairs , couches, pillows window boxes and much much more........ We also offer custom upholstery for headboards and ottomans.
Auto Upholstery :
There are a variety of services available for cars interiors from : simple rips and tears to full custom interiors. We also upholster convertible car tops , door panels , headliner repairs or new full headliner installation , carpet repair or new full installation, as well as , upholstery of speaker boxes , trunks and door panels.
Marine / Boat upholstery :
whether it's repairing a rip or customizing the full interior of a boat theres no repair to small or too big ; we do it all. We can also custom create boat covers , bags and Bimini tops/covers.

CAN I GET AN ESTIMATE OVER THE PHONE OR BY SENDING IN A PICTURE?
Unfortunately no. We need to actually see the item in person in order to be able to give our customer the most accurate estimate possible. Without actually seeing the item we can not fully account for what we can't see in the picture. For example ; in order to know how much material a piece or item might need we need to be able to see the item as a whole to measure for the right amount of fabric. For this reason we do offer in home estimates for a nominal fee.
WHICH PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
At this time we only except cash and checks as payment.
DO YOU OFFER PICK UP AND DELIVERY SERVICE?
Yes. We offer this service for a fee.
WHAT IS THE FEE FOR AN IN HOME ESTIMATE ?
Our fee starts at $ 45.00. If you decide to go forward with the work we can deduct the amount of your estimate fee from your totally bill.

DO YOU SELL UPHOLSTERY PRODUCTS?
No. We are a full service upholsterer. We do not offer, for sell , our upholstery supplies.

We use the highest quality Marine fabric ( to ensure lasting durability ), stainless steel staples ( because they won't rust" which is very important " ) and bonded polyester thread , which is made to be used outdoors. This is very important because fabric store cotton poly blend threads will not last long out on your boat.

I would highly recommend Rudy's Custom Upholstery for anybody looking to get furniture reupholstered. Right when I arrived at Rudy's shop he stopped working on the chair he was working on & gave me his full attention regarding my reupholstery request. He offered several solutions and options to help educate me on what decisions I had to make and what to look forward to. I was concerned about removing the old traditional testing and buttons and asked him if it was possible to make the chairs look more modern & he said no problem! He was very patient in waiting for me to bring the upholstery (that I purchased) to his shop and within just two hours of me dropping off the upholstery he had my chair complete. I love that he had texted me pictures of what my chairs looked like during the revamping process!! My reupholstered chairs look amazing and I would definitely work with Rudy's custom services again!!

Rudy was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Our 2007 Yamaha AR230 boat had sat out in the elements and the upholstery was ruined. He gave us his opinion on what was needed, provided color samples etc. We were wowed with the result, looks like a brand new boat with the new seats and the orange trim he suggested really makes the new upholstery pop and compliments the outside color of the boat. Delivered when promised and he kept us updated of his progress with pictures all along the way. Can't say enough about how happy we are with his professionalism and the finished product. We highly recommend Rudy for any upholstery needs you may have.

My wife found Rudy's custom Upholstery on Yelp. He has all 5 star reviews, and he certainly lived up to that for us. Rudy is the best at his craft at a reasonable price. We had some pieces that are shaped oddly, and he new exactly what was involved in getting the work done professionally. Gave us the price and when he could have it done, and actually had it done ahead of schedule. No BS or upsell from Rudy. He's a very personable, laid back guy, yet takes his work seriously.
